Scenic Sleigh Rides In Steamboat Springs, CO

Make a reservation to enjoy any of Bar Lazy L Ranch’s sleigh rides. The evening begins when we pick you up at one of the various locations throughout Steamboat Springs. Then, enjoy a twenty-minute ride up the Elk River Valley to the ranch, where the horse-drawn sleighs await. Our scenic sleigh rides in Steamboat Springs, CO, follow the river through the lower pasture, drift through the trees, and make their way back down the meadow to the loft of our remodeled barn. There, we have warm drinks, entertainment, and hospitality awaiting you.
As you warm up from the winter weather, browse through many Western artifacts collected by our family over the years while listening to traditional Western music performed by local artists. A ranch-style rustic dinner will be served, allowing you to sit and enjoy a satisfying meal. After dinner, additional entertainment will be provided as you relax and let your meal settle.
Our primary focus is on quality food and entertainment. Combining these two elements with horses, storytelling, and our passion for the Western lifestyle creates a truly unique atmosphere for our patrons, who leave with full stomachs and smiles.

Pickup & Drop-Off

Reservations are required for all scenic sleigh rides. During this process, we will determine your party's most convenient pickup and drop-off location. All our designated locations have plenty of parking and are strategically located for easy access. Please be courteous to all guests and arrive on time for your pickup. Parking is limited during the winter, so all guests must arrive at the same time. We do not recommend diving.

Gondola Transit Center

The Gondola Transit Center is at the foot of the ski mountain on Mt. Werner Circle and serves as the main pickup and drop-off point for many shuttles and local buses. It is our primary location because of its convenient access to the resorts, which is why we pull up to the curb rather than using a designated bus lane.

Safeway Supermarket

The Safeway Supermarket location is used by guests arriving in Steamboat from the east or south. We pick up and drop off at the bus shelter in the center of the Safeway parking lot.

Wells Fargo Bank

The Wells Fargo Bank location is convenient for those staying downtown because it is central and easy to access on foot. We pick up and drop off in the back parking lot, which is located north of Wells Fargo, across from the post office.

ACE

The guests we pick up at the ACE location primarily travel into Steamboat from the west. We recommend parking near the large propane tank, where we will meet you and bring you to your scenic sleigh ride.
